So yeah, it's been a while, huh Xanga? Sorry. I see that they have made some great improvements, though...

I just checked my Yahoo! email account that I haven't checked in a LONG time, and the Xanga subscription emails reminded me that I still have a Xanga.

I made blueberry muffins last night for breakfast this morning. They are absolutely delightful.

I get to go home Wed. night. I'm SOOOOO freakin' ready. I have midterms this week, and they won't be fun.

I'm officially WAY obsessed with my new favorite show Grey's Anatomy. The O.C. is not looking so good this season, so I think Grey's will surpass it as my #1 fave show EVER. They are both on at the same time on the same night of the week, so I'll be taping O.C. and watching Grey's. Mmmm....bring on Dr. McDreamy!

MAN, it's really cold in my office at work. Brrr!!

So...I didn't get to talk to the MAN himself (Will Ferrell), but I went into Patrick's studio and listened to them give the interview. It was so cool to hear his voice and to have him on our show. I can't wait to see Talladega Nights!

Oh, I forgot to tell ya earlier....I might get to talk to my favorite comedian actor EVER....Mr. Will Ferrell!!!!!!

He's going to be on the Big D & Bubba show next week. We're interviewing him for a short time on Monday morning, and the interview will probably air Tuesday or Wednesday. I asked Patrick if I could maybe answer the phone when he calls, but he said no...but he said he might see about putting me on the air to at least say hi to Will. How awesome is that?! I sure hope I get to talk to him. Although, I have no earthly idea what I will say, besides..."hi." I don't want to be the usual "fan" and tell him something he hears all the time, like "I love your movies." Any ideas?

I need more cowbell.

Surprise, surprise...MySpace is down again this morning. Sure, I know everyone else in the world isn't up at this hour in the summertime, but I enjoy logging on when I get bored at work in the morning. Oh well....

So, this new job opportunity came up yesterday, and I'm really really really hoping I can get it. There's a midday DJ slot (10a-2p) opening up for the Tyler-Longview station 101.5 KNUE, and the program director had remembered my name and where I was from. He emailed Patrick asking if I'd be interested. I haven't been a DJ in quite some time since I've been working mostly behind the scenes doing producer stuff, so I am definitely a little rusty, but I really hope he will like my work. I'm doing an aircheck this afternoon, which is basically doing a short one or two hour shift overnight so the PD can listen and see how I sound. He emailed me this morning and said he'd let me know the decision in a couple of weeks, which means they're considering everyone else too...everyone else, as in, people who have been doing this longer than me...which makes me a little nervous. But, I'm hoping for the best and saying a prayer. Wish me luck! I'll let you know what happens.
